Dangerous Tree Poses a Threat to the Highway - November 2012

A leading Highways company recently called on the assistance of Salcey when a Beech tree located adjacent to a busy road was found to be heavily decayed at the base posing a threat to the highway. A three man team, 35 tonne crane and 18 tonne lorry were required to dismantle the tree to a 3 metre high standing stem.  A road closure diversion was also put in place for the operation to be conducted as safely as possible. This demonstrates the breadth of resources Salcey has available to complete tree work for clients.

Another Satisfied Customer - May 2012

Crew members David, Graham and Lloyd attended a residential property in Hunsbury, Northampton, to complete the tree works required on two Leyland Cypress and Laurels. The customer had recently moved into the property and felt the specimens were intrusive in the garden and blocking light. The customer comments: “The crew did an amazing job, worked hard and we are really pleased with the outcome. The work has let more light into the garden and we would recommend you to anyone”.
