Salcey Wins Arboricultural Contract for the Royal Borough of Maidenhead & Windsor - March 2011

Salcey is delighted to be working with the Royal Borough of Maidenhead & Windsor having won the Highways, Parks & Cemetaries contract. 

Salcey will be completing various arboricultural works to the appropriate British Standards and AFAG safety guides to ensure that all operations are completed so as to leave each specimen with a pleasing appearance and compatible with safety. This is another example of the range of Salcey’s work and expertise of Salcey staff.  

Gorse Clearance on the A34 Tothill - January 2011

As the Preferred Supplier for Enterprise Mouchel on Area 3 for the North and Central regions, Salcey have been carrying out Gorse clearance on the A34 near Tothill services.

The contract started in November 2010, includes day and night work and has involved manual crews and a posi track tasked with clearing the slopes, banks and highway signs of gorse to give good site lines. The contract is now close to completion and is another example of the diverse services that Salcey provides.

Salcey to the Rescue for the Winter Freeze - December 2010

The snow that continues to cover the UK has seen a number of our commercial clients call upon Salcey to remove snow on sites around the country. These include the Police HQ in Hind Lip Hall, Worcester, various Retail Parks and the American Express Head Office in Surrey.

Using skid steers equipped with a front bucket for scooping and manually clearing, where necessary, Salcey have been working around the clock to make these sites accessible and safer for pedestrians and workers. With severe weather conditions set to continue Salcey are prepared for a busy period ahead this festive season.
